Cardboard and paperboard significantly more sustainable than plastic
More than 6,000 tons of food were packaged sustainably, hygienically and safely by producers in trays, trays, folding boxes and baskets from RHIEM.
RHIEM developed a flexible folding carton for organic pasta from North Rhine-Westphalia and gourmet sauces from star chef Alexander Wulf. The “star boxes” contain the ingredients for delicious dishes and are made for e-commerce.

Quick and hygienic packaging
Demand for coronavirus tests is increasing worldwide: RHIEM is packaging the toolkit for the new NADAL® COVID-19 Ag rapid antigen test for nal von minden, thereby accelerating its delivery all over the world.
Green and cost-efficient
Thanks to a photovoltaic system on the new logistics center, the RHIEM Group emits around 700 tons less carbon dioxide per year and will generate 50% of its total electricity consumption in future.
