Heldbergs.com wins the Shop Usability Award 2018
RHIEM Intermedia GmbH makes really good online stores – you can get really good stuff for men at Heldbergs. The brand store for “distinctive unique items for distinctive men” from Habermaaß once again relied on the services of the e-commerce agency from Voerde for the redesign of its online store. The results of the successful collaboration with other partners in the service network have now been recognized with the prestigious Shop Usability Award 2018.
Selling skillfully with stories
At Heldbergs, women can find gift ideas for men, who in turn find inspiration for their adventures and escapes from everyday life: useful tools, fun toys and other lovably unique items from manufacturers. What the well-traveled Volker Habermaaß wants but can’t find anywhere, he makes himself. The strikingly playful store uses images, texts and videos to tell stories about the pleasure of being a man and the desire to enjoy life and freedom.
The store design appeals – not only to customers, but also to the judges of the Shop Usability Award 2018: “Since this year, the Masterclass Storytelling category has been awarded to stores that sell creatively and are really fun thanks to a clever overall story,” says organizer Shoplupe. Heldbergs ideally fulfills this requirement and was therefore named the deserved winner in 2018.” Heldbergs secured first place in a field of more than 700 competitors with its unique product presentation. Even Johannes Altmann, founder of Shoplupe and initiator of the prize, readily admits that he filled his shopping cart faster than usual when trying out Heldbergs.
Excellent division of labor
RHIEM Intermedia GmbH managed the technical implementation of the project using the “Shopware” store software from the Münsterland-based manufacturer of the same name and design drafts from the Nexum agency. “Everyone contributes their strengths – that’s how I imagine a creative partnership,” says Heldbergs founder Volker Habermaaß. “RHIEM understands our ideas and supports our passion for remarkable products with character. Together, we have developed an online store that resonates and delights customers.”
Heldbergs not only stands for a successful customer approach, but also for an attractive product range and reliable service. This earned the company second place in the “Accessories, Gifts & Lifestyle” category of the Shop Usability Award. The judges said: “Both the product selection and composition as well as the presentation are unique and convincing. The tonality of the customer approach is authentic, activated emotionally, and in addition to usability, the store scores highly in terms of user experience. You can feel that a lot of passion and hard work has gone into the Heldbergs store.”
RHIEM Intermedia GmbH has been named an “Excellent Agency” by Shoplupe in recognition of the above-average quality of its implementation. “Heldbergs is a client that challenges us as an agency and e-commerce service provider at all levels.
