RHIEM Group manages Speck Products’ online shop in Europe
Fulfillment provider becomes a trading partner of the well-known US manufacturer of sleeves and bags for computers, smart phones and tablets, organizing from its base in Voerde the entire online sales and customer services operation for Speck Products in Europe.
The online shop for the UK is already generating its first orders. The shops in German, French and other European languages are about to go live. The RHIEM Group has taken over Speck Products’ online commercial operations, supplying consumers from its base in Voerde with the coveted, trendy smart phone, tablet and laptop sleeves and bags from the US manufacturer from Mountain View. We were looking for an online sales partner in Europe and in the RHIEM Group we have found a complete, one-stop e-commerce solution. Speck already enjoys a good reputation with Apple and iPad fans. Owners of Kindle e-readers, Nexus tablets and Samsung smart phones can now get acquainted with the Speck Products’ bracketed star logo if they are looking for something to protect their pristine screens from scratches or want to pack their devices safely away. Since 2001, Speck Products has manufactured ultra thin cases and bags made from patented hard plastic or neoprene, which means your cell phone or computer will not only survive a fall from the table but will also create a colorful visual highlight. Hitherto available only from selected retail outlets and Apple stores, the products can now be ordered online direct from Speck Products. From its central warehouse in Voerde, RHIEM supplies online shoppers in Europe and handles customer services for Speck Products in its own multilingual call center. We deliver orders within one to three days, depending on the destination within Europe”.
Growth opportunities through efficient organization
Speck Products has appeared regularly on the lists of fast-growing companies in recent years. The company has won several awards for the design of the sleeves and bags. RHIEM assumes the role of reseller and shipping partner for the B2C online shop of the US provider. The Voerde company warehouses the goods, is responsible for the payment of sales taxes and reports the sales figures regularly to Speck Products. RHIEM also handles returns, invoices and credit notes. Finally, the two partners in this reselling business simply exchange an invoice for the goods that have actually been sold.
